tribute to David Mack_kabuki

I just finished "Alchemy" the last book in the kabuki series. reading it gave me a sense of change and growth. It sounds weird but this comic changed my life. And i decided to try a mixed media approach in expressing these feelings. well. im not overly pleased with it.. im not a mixed media person and i think it shows. its magazines cut up and pasted scrapbook paper buttons silk markers, watercolor and cut out text.. i liked it just fine yesterday in my 'fever' but now i just stare and contemplate at it. I think i could do better but maybe its not too terribly bad. i really dont know. If you havent read the kabuki series yet i implore you to read this intensely intelligent and visually stunning comic book. this is what a comic should be people.
